This naturally leavened loaf is inspired by the warmth of carrot cake—infused with a housemade spiced carrot compote, crafted from sun-kissed oranges picked straight from my garden and a touch of fresh ginger for depth. Walnuts are gently folded into the dough for added texture and richness, creating a soft, tangy interior with pockets of flavor in every bite. It’s wholesome, fragrant, and just sweet enough to feel like a treat.
